PREFACE

T.
The contents of this book are entirely the same as those of the ”Shinpen Shoka
Shu”(new collecyion of school songs)formerly compiled by the Government−General
    of Chosen.
U. This book is divided into two parts: the first part contains songs pertaining to ce-
remonies and the second part miscellaneous songs. Besides these, some songs in
    pure Eunmun are inserted.
V. In tesching these songs, csrefil consideration should be paid to the ease or diffic−
ulty presented by them and the ability of the pupils,as the order in which they
are arranged is not intended to be strictly followed by the teacher.

      The 4th Year of Taisho

                         THE GOVERNMENT−GENERAL of CHOSEN.
